Set Preference: ETA Tab
Preference Setting: ETA Display
This preference is responsible for the ETA status you will see on the shipment page.
- "Show ETA" displays the automated Freight Portal calculated ETA's based on geofences, position events, appointments, and arrivals/departures received.
- "Show Carrier provided ETA" displays the ETA's that are sent in from the carrier.
- "Hide ETA" does not display any ETA time. Instead, the ON TIME status will only be displayed.
ETA Baseline
- Enabling the ETA baseline will reset the baseline using the new ETA. Notifications are then triggered off of this new calculated ETA.
- Enabling the ETA baseline for Priority (Hot) Shipments will reset the baseline using the new ETA for only priority-flagged shipments. Notifications are then triggered off of this new calculated ETA.
Default Dwell Time for Stops
- Our system uses the defined dwell time in the ETA calculation. This field defines how long the carrier will remain at their current stop before they navigate to their next stop. This button can be enabled or disabled. If enabled and if the carrier meets this defined time criteria at a stop, it will be added into the ETA calculation.
Appointment Time as ETA
- If "Appointment Time as ETA" is enabled, the appointment time will display as the current ETA for a shipment.
