Location Management

Overview / Navigation

The Locations page is where management of these important locations within an organization are maintained.  

To Create a new Location users can click the "Create" button on the left hand side of the page as shown below. 

 Location Details 

This will open a panel on the right of your screen where you will be required to enter all the location details.

After you enter all the required Location details the setting panel will open allowing you to set a few requirements for the location. 

Delivery Status Time-frames

The ability to define which delivery status is displayed in the map toggles and in the shipment drawer on the left of the map. For multi-stop shipments there may be more than one delivery status on a shipment. 

Dwell Time

The ability to define dwell time that is added into the ETA calculations for the amount of time a driver would spend at a stop location. Or the ability to remove the dwell time from the ETA calculation altogether. 

Geo-Fencing

As an organization, you can set what the Geo-Fence radius around shipment locations should be. The geo-fence radius can be as little as 0.01 mile or as much as 5.0 miles. 

Radius will allow you define a give measurement for that individual location. 

Clicking the Geofencing "Draw Your Own" option will allow you to create a polygonal shape around the given location address stored. You will need to start and end on the same point to complete the polygonal shape.
