Carrier Portal Functionality
Welcome to Carrier Portal
Carrier Portal was developed to give carriers a central place to manage their shipments across all Trimble Visibility shippers. Carriers can log in to a singular portal and provide details on all shipments associated with their shippers via one portal.
Each shipper’s shipments are separate with the ability to manage shipments for all customers within Freight Portal. To select a new shipper simply click the arrow and select the appropriate shipper from the drop-down.
Once a shipper is selected, the user will be taken to a list of shipments that can be managed.
The first button shown will allow users to update the tractor and trailer numbers on a shipment:
Once the "123" button is selected, the user will see the following:
This will give the user the ability to add, edit, or remove a tractor number on a shipment. This can be used for ELD tracking if currently set up. This can also be updated and the dialog you see above will be presented should the user click either the Tractor or Trailer number cell on the list as well.
The clock icon allows the user to update the Appointment, ETA, Arrival, or Departure for any stop on a shipment:
Updates to Appointment, ETA, arrival, or departure on all shipment stops can be updated from this same window.
The next action is the assign mobile tracking action by clicking the mobile icon:
When the user clicks this button, they will be presented with the following:
This will allow the user to enter a number to be used for tracking via a mobile app. When a driver has accepted the tracking and has logged in to the app, you will see a mobile icon such as shown in the list view above. Similar to the other action buttons, this can also be opened and leveraged by clicking on the cell that contains this information as well.

In addition to the list view that has been shown in this document, there is also a full detailed view of a shipment that users can get to by clicking on the Shipper Ref # cell on the list. This will take the user to a view where more information can be seen and added:
In this page, users can do all of the actions that are available on the list, but they also have a few other options which are:
● Add a position to a shipment. A user can use the search bar to assist in finding the correct position when adding it to a shipment.
● Upload a document to a shipment. A user can either drag and drop an order document or click to find a document on their computer.
