Bearer Token Basics

Overview

API bearer tokens are used as one of our key integration methods. A bearer token will allow authorization to write directly to your database. These keys can only be created and assigned to user profiles with administrative or higher privileges. This bearer token is then only available to be viewed by the user who created the token.

Creating New Bearer Token Keys

Users will need to name the token something unique:

Users are given 3 options for when the token will expire:

After selecting an expiration parameter, the user will click the "Generate" button in the lower right hand corner to confirm and save the bearer token.
The user will want to copy the bearer token immediately as this key will briefly display only once.

Managing Existing Keys

This section displays where all historic bearer tokens are actively assigned to your individual user account. Best practice is to create as few keys as possible.
